Ahead of today’s CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal draw, Enyimba have climbed in the updated African club ranking.
The Confederation Cup quarterfinalists are the only Nigerian club in the Top 30 African club ranking, which as expected is dominated by clubs from North Africa.
‘The People’s Elephant’ are now 12th with 408 points after moving up four places up from 16th.
This ranking should help them get a more favourable draw today as the seven other teams in the last eight of the competition boost good pedigree on the continent.
Egypt’s Al Ahly are the No 1 ranked African club.
