Successful businessman and philanthropist Adam Mouktar Mohammed was today unanimously elected the new chairman of the FCT Football Association.

Mouktar Mohammed, who was the second vice chairman of the FA in the previous dispensation, defeated incumbent Musa Talle 11-4 at the polls to begin a four-year term.
It was a most resounding vote of approval from the FCT FA elective congress, which was equally marked by the spontaneous jubilation by hundreds of his supporters at the election venue in Kuje.
He has now promised tremendous development and promotion of football in the Federal Capital Territory under his watch.
