New signing Ahmed Musa has vowed total commitment to making Kano Pillars NPFL champions for a fifth time.
The 28-year-old Super Eagles captain has agreed a short-term deal with his former club, who have won the NPFL four times.
“They are currently second on the table, but I will give everything I have to make them champions again,” vowed the former Leicester City forward.
“Everybody who knows me or has worked with me, knows that I don’t toy with my job and that because I have played for some top clubs overseas, I will not put my body on the line again for Kano Pillars.
“By God’s grace you will see from my performance my full commitment to this club.
“Even today, I received a call from my agent of an offer, but I told him I have signed for Kano Pillars and they will have to wait till the summer.”
Ahmed Musa restated that there was not thing special about his decision to play again in the NPFL 12 years since he last did so.
“I started from here and it should not be strange for me to return,” he said.
“Many other players have done same, so my case should not be different.”
