Ekong, 27, played the entire game for Watford to now just be six points behind table leaders Norwich City in the English Championship.
He garnered more than half of the votes and the Watford Twitter handle described him as “an absolute rock at the back.”
The top two teams in the Championship will be automatically promoted to the English top flight.
The central defender has played 27 league games and scored a goal since his transfer from Udinese in the summer.
