Coach Finidi George has said he believes at least seven players from the domestic league are good enough to play for the Super Eagles.
“Six, seven (NPFL) players can feature for the Super Eagles,” declared the new Super Eagles coach during his media tour today.
“There are talents in the league who are good enough, we only have to scout properly.”
The former Enyimba coach further said he expects more from the country’s top players in Europe.
“The players are doing so well in Europe and I hope they do same with the Super Eagles,” he said.
“We will motivate them to do what they are doing at their clubs week in, week out.”
Finidi said his target is to always win because only results can keep a coach on the job.
“What keeps a manager are the results, even if you have a 10-year contract,” he said.
“Results will keep you on the job and I intend to get that.”
