Five players have been recalled by the CHAN Eagles ahead of their crucial 2024 CHAN playoff return leg match against Ghana.
The players include strikers Samuel Ayanrinde (Shooting Stars) and Sunday Megwo (Abia Warriors).
They are all-action strikers, whose physical presence will trouble the Ghanaian central defenders.
Others are Enugu Rangers midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye, Vincent Temitope from Plateau United and Badmus Gbadamosi of Kwara United.
These players were in the Ikenne training camp but did not make the final cut for the trip to Ghana.
The team are now in Uyo and will have their first training this evening.
They welcome the Black Galaxies of Ghana Saturday after both teams played out a scoreless draw in Accra at the weekend.
The overall winners to this tie will advance to the delayed 2024 CHAN to be staged in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in February 2025.
