AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has described Nigerian-Briton Fikayo Tomori as a good talent who has added quality to the squad and he is upbeat the San Siro giants will hold talks with Chelsea over a permanent switch.
Maldini said he is pleased with Tomori’s performances since the defender joined on loan in January, but he considers the roughly £26 million buy-out option as “very high”.
“Tomori is a good talent and we have a buy-option clause,” he told Skysports.
“Tomori is a player who has particular characteristics of speed and intensity and for us, he is a reinforcement.
“The price is very high. AC Milan will decide at the end of this season and we will discuss it with Chelsea’s board.”
