The Super Eagles will now take on Benin in a 2026 World Cup qualifier at one of the stadiums used for the recent AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
This was after CAF ruled that the stadiums in Benin are sub-standard.
This World Cup qualifier will be played between June 3 and 11.
The Super Eagles are third in their qualifying group with two points after two rounds of matches, while Benin, who are handled by former Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr, have a point.
Rwanda, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Lesotho are the other teams in this group.
