FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi has visited a specialist over his latest injury.
The leftback missed his club’s last three games of the past season with a muscle injury.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will drop him for the friendly against Cameroon in Austria as a result of this.
Rohr further disclosed the injury will not require surgery.
It has been a most eventful past season for the Kebbi-born Zaidu, who signed for Porto from Santa Clara, made an impressive Super Eagles debut last year and also played for the first time in the UEFA Champions League.
