Victor Boniface today resumed normal goal-scoring service after a ghastly car crash that landed him in hospital Sunday.
The crash caused him to miss a UEFA Champions League clash at French club Brest in midweek, but today he opened scoring for Bayer Leverkusen at Werder Bremen after half an hour.
The Super Eagles striker has now netted six goals in the Bundesliga this season.
His goal today meant that Leverkusen have now scored in 21 consecutive away games for the first time in the German top flight.
Leverkusen are now five points clear of leaders RB Leipzig, who have 20 points from eight matches.
