The Golden Eaglets have produced a long line of sharp-shooting strikers, from Macauley Chrisantus to Kelechi Iheanacho and most recently Victor Osimhen.

And as the Eaglets groovy train gets back on track for next week’s U17 AFCON qualifiers, one player who is expected to catch the eyes will be Joseph Arumala from Sporting Dreams Academy of Abuja.
The Delta-born winger or striker was 16 in November and he is widely expected to carry the attacking responsibilities of the country in Lome, Togo.
In the build-up to the qualifying tournament, left-footed centre-forward Arumala scored four goals and provided two assists in five test games.
He is the classic dribbling wizard, who has the knack to go past his marker and also weighs in with his own fair share of goals.
He has an amazing close ball control and loves to dance past his markers.
He is blessed with flair, resilence, great on 1v1, and strong.
He could be compared to former Liverpool star Luis Saurez, a player with superb technique who also knows his way to goal.
It is only fitting then that he will be sporting the famous No 10 shirt in Lome, when the AFCON qualifiers kick off on Tuesday, January 5.
