Chido Obi-Martin, who has set various goals records at youth level with Arsenal, is now on his way to a top club in Europe after he rejected a new and hefty contract by the London club.
Obi-Martin, 16, who joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022 from Danish club FC Copenhagen, scored 32 goals and made two assists in 18 appearances for Arsenal in the U18 Premier League last season.
His contract at Arsenal ran out this summer.
He has now said his goodbye to The Gunners.
“The memories made will always be remembered,” the teenage sensation signed off on Instagram.
“Thank you once again for this journey. I wish everyone continued successes and all the best for the future.
“Thank you Arsenal.”
He has a long list of top clubs across Europe to now choose from – Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Newcastle, AS Monaco and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Obi-Martin has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances for Denmark U17s.
