Elated Ahmed Musa has promised more five-star displays and goals after his sensational return to the NPFL with Kano Pillars.
The Super Eagles World Cup star scored the two goals in a home win over Sunshine Stars and could even have made it a hat-trick, but his penalty late on in the game came off the post.
“Scoring two goals and earning that penalty was just the start – we’ve got a lot more coming!,” declared Ahmed Musa after the match.
“This is only the beginning.”
He added: “I’m glad to be back in the NPFL and to contribute to my team’s success.
“Playing here feels special and I hope to keep making our supporters proud.”
This was Kano Pillars second win of the season and they are now eighth on the table with seven points from five matches.
They will have a double-header away as they travel to face Akwa United in the South-South, followed by a midweek clash with Rangers in the South-East.
