Michael Olise, who has been on the radar of the Super Eagles, came off the bench to score his first goal in the Premier League and inspire a superb comeback for Crystal Palace today.
Leicester City raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half with Kelechi Iheanacho capitalising on some poor defending to open scores after 31 minutes.
It was his first Premier League goal in his first start this new season.
Olise, 19, then came off the subs’ bench on 53 minutes and eight minutes later he pulled a goal back for his team.
He made a big impact following his introduction as Palace went on to draw 2-2.
Besides Nigeria, midfielder Olise is also eligible to play for France, England or even Algeria, where his mother hails from.
He has yet to make his decision public.
