Former Super Eagles stars are perplexed that with just two weeks to a 2025 AFCON qualifier the NFF have yet to appoint a new coach.
Ex-Super Eagles defender Abbey George simply described the situation as poor and disappointing.
“Who will lead the team to battle?,” he asked rhetorically.
“This is very poor from the NFF.
It’s a lack of leadership that has now let down a crop of talented players.”
Ifeanyi Udeze, who has also been capped by the Super Eagles, said he is equally disappointed the national team still do not have a coach.
“I am also disappointment,” he said.
“It’s crazy this fire-brigade style and we now expect a new coach to come and perform magic.
“We need to change how we do things.”
