South Africa will only touch down in Uyo later today after delays in their travel to Nigeria on a special flight.
Team spokesman Romy Titus said Bafana Bafana had to spend the night in Port Harcourt, where they did their immigration, after the airport in Uyo was closed down.
He admitted that “massive flight delay” was responsible for this travel plan change. The team will be expected to train by 8pm later today at the venue of the match against Super Eagles.
