Coach Salisu Yusuf has terminated his contract with NPFL side Enugu Rangers as he looks set to take over at Kano Pillars.
SCORENigeria can specially report that Yusuf signed a two-year contract with Rangers.
Last season, he led ‘The Flying Antelopes’ to seventh place with 62 points from 38 matches, which is outside the bracket for qualification to international football.
It will be an entirely new Rangers in the new season as Davidson Owumi will also post his general manager post to be chief executive office of the League Management Company (LMC).
It was further learnt that the former Super Eagles coach will meet with top Kano State Government officials next week to be presented as the new boss of Kano Pillars.
His immediate target is to ensure Pillars qualify for continental football again after they missed out this past season.
He has previously handled Enyimba, Lobi Stars and FC Taraba.
