A former teammate of Paul Onuachu has said he expects the Genk striker to cash in on his haul of goals with a big-money transfer to either the Premier League or the Bundesliga and he does not expect him to join Scottish champions Celtic.
Onuachu has fired 24 goals in 28 league matches thus far in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season.
And Celtic are the latest club linked with the sharp-shooting Onuachu, but Erik Sviatchenko, who has played at the Scottish giants and also played alongside him at FC Midtjylland, said he does not Onuachu’s future at Celtic.
“I really don’t think Paul would go to Celtic at this point in his career,” the Danish defender told CeltsAreHere.com.
“His next step may be the Premier League or the Bundesliga.”
The 26-year-old striker has also been linked with French Ligue 1 side Lyon and has said he has the talent to shine in any of the major leagues in Europe.
