Henry Onyekuru will play for Galatasaray for a third time and the Turkish club have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for six million Euros after his latest loan spell by season’s end.
Onyekuru is expected in Turkey before the end of this week to complete his loan transfer from AS Monaco, where he no longer has a future.
‘Gala’ will pay about a million Euros for the loan.
SCORENigeria further gathered that the most vexed issue of this transaction was whether the purchase will be optional or mandatory.
It was finally agreed it will not be mandatory that ‘Gala’ will trigger the option to splash out six million Euros to buy the forward.
In August 2019, Monaco bought Onyekuru from Premier League club Everton for 13.5 million Euros.
However, he has failed to make his mark at the Ligue 1 club.
This season, he made only four appearances and provided an assist. He last played for Monaco four months ago.
