Napoli have again been linked to Victor Boniface as one of five possible replacements for fellow Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen after he gave the strongest hint yet he will quit the Serie A champions at the end of the season.
Osimhen, 25, said in an interview with CBS that he has decided to take “the next step” of his career in the summer.
Tuttomercatoweb has now reported that Victor Boniface is high on Napoli list of possible replacements for Osimhen.
The bayer Leverkusen striker has taken the Bundesliga by storm since his summer switch from Belgian club Union St.Gilloise.
He has netted 10 goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances.
His current Transfermarkt value is put at 40 Million Euros, while Napoli have budgeted 50 Million Euros for any of their targets.
The other possible relacements for Osimhen are Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig), Jonathan David (Lille), Joshua Zirzee (Bologna) and Santiago Gimenez (Feyenoord).
