“Yes, I felt some pains around my ankle, but I am good to go, I will resume training and play our next pre-season game against Lorient on Wednesday, it’s nothing serious,” he told SCORENigeria
FC Nantes coach Antoine Kombouare had expressed concerns about the winger’s fitness after a 2-1 win over Laval.
Moses Simon scored and provided an assist for the victory.
The Super Eagles star has now scored twice in pre-season matches to prove he has recovered from a fractured fibula he suffered on international duty against Mali in March.
