Terem Moffi has turned down the chance to join Olympique Marseille, who have reportedly matched the 30 Million Euros asking price of FC Lorient, as OGC Nice are expected to improve their latest offer for the striker.
Nice officials met with Moffi’s Ligue 1 club today with the big possibility that they will improve their latest 20 Millions Euros bid.
Their previous bids of 15 and 18 Million Euros were rejected by his club.
According to L’Equipe, Marseille officials flew to meet Moffi and convince him to join them.
But he politely turned them down.
After his absence from the Coupe de France win at Bastia, Moffi returned to training on Wednesday morning, without any serious concerns.
Nice are now expected to make a fifth bid and this is expected to get closer to the €30 million mark set at the start of the transfer window by Lorient President Loïc Féry.
