Atletico Madrid forward Ajibade struck in the 21st minute and first half stoppage time to turn back the Algerians, who paraded a team of predominantly foreign-based stars.
Both teams will play a second friendly in Lagos Tuesday.
The Falcons started five foreign pros with the rest of the team coming from the domestic league.
The pros were Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal, Tosin Demehin in defence, Esther Onyenezide in midfield with Gift Monday and Ajibade in attack.
It was therefore an audition for the locally based players to show whether they are good enough at this level of the game.
Interim coach Justin Madugu said he will not pick any of the newly capped players for “an extraordinary” performance.
