Libya and Rwanda split the points tonight after they drew 1-1 in an opening 2025 AFCON qualifying match in Group D, which also has the Super Eagles and Benin.
Home Libya took the lead after just 16 minutes, before Rwanda restored parity in the 46th minute.
The Super Eagles will welcome Benin a second game in this qualifying group Saturday in Uyo.
There will subsequently visit Rwanda the following week, while Benin play host to Libya in Abidjan.
The top two teams in this group will qualify automatically to the 2025 AFCON to be staged in Morocco beginning from December next year.
