Leon Balogun has been picked as the best player when champions Rangers again got the better of their fierce Glasgow rivals Celtic at the weekend.
Rangers pipped Celtic 1-0 in The Old Firm Derby Sunday with the versatile Balogun playing at right back following several absentees.
Rangers stand-in manager Gary McAllister was full of praise for the experienced Super Eagles defender.
“From one to eleven, we were outstanding, but if I have to pick one – Leon Balogun was superb,” he remarked.
“His defensive display showed why we brought him here. He can play three or four different positions.”
The former Brighton ace made the most clearances and tackles than any of his teammates in this famous derby.
