Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the new attacking combination of Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka following a thrilling 3-3 draw at QPR.
The impressive Daka, a big-money signing from Red Bull Salzburg of Austria, scored his first goal for ‘The Foxes’, while Iheanacho dispatched a penalty for the team to salvage a draw.
Daka was brought down and Iheanacho put away the resultant spot kick.
“I thought him (Daka) and Kels (Iheanacho) combined very, very well,” saluted an impressed Rodgers.
“They were looking for each other and some of their play was exceptional.”
Leicester City, who placed fifth last season, will play a final pre-season friendly on Wednesday at home against UEFA Europa League winners Villarreal.
They face Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday in the Community Shield to usher the new Premier League season.
