Philip Azango has headed back to Slovak club AS Trencin after he failed to impress at top Belgian club KAA Gent in two seasons.
The 23-year-old winger joined Gent in the 2018 transfer window and managed only two games that season.
Last season, he did not play a game for ‘The Buffaloes’.
He has now returned to Trencin, who brought him from Nigeria in September 2017.
Trencin gave Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu the platform to make their way to Belgium with Gent and from there they are now both in the French Ligue 1.
The club have gone through hard times financially but have appointed former Lokeren coach Stijn Vreven to revive their fortunes on the pitch.
