Jordan Kadiri today signed a four-year contract with Belgian club Lommel SK, who are owned by the City Football Group who also have Manchester City and New York City in the MLS.
Kadiri’s agent, Atta Aneke, announced the transfer on his Facebook page.
“Kadiri Attah has been sold from Ostersund FK in Allsvenskan to City Football Group, first club on his path is Lommel in Belgium,” Aneke posted.
“He has signed a four-year deal.”
On Thursday, Kadiri passed a routine medical.
The 20-year-old striker spent 11 months at Swedish club Ostersunds FK before his move to Belgium.
Media reports put the transfer fee for the prolific centre-forward at around 1.3 million Euros after OFK had rejected an initial lower offer.
In the new season, Lommel will now be counting on Kadiri’s goals to propel them to the top flight in Belgium.
