Man-on-form Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed his biggest personal highlight in his three and half years at Leicester City and it is not his first-ever career hat-trick.
Iheanacho told LCFC TV that scoring the goal that lifted ‘The Foxes’ past Manchester United to the FA Cup semifinal has been his standout moment.
“The fans have been waiting for many years for us to do so and it happened in their lifetime,” he explained.
“This has given us a great opportunity to get to the cup final now.”
Leicester City are also battling for a UEFA Champions League spot, an honour they missed out on last season.
“Yes, the next few months are massive for Leicester City. We just have to stay focused and take it a game at a time,” he said.
Iheanacho has signed a new contract, which keeps him at Leicester City till June 2024 after he first arrived from Manchester City in August 2017.
