Dashing Flying Eagles winger Sadiq Isiaka has signed for top Egyptian club Al Ittihad.
The 18-year-old forward, who shone for the Flying Eagles at the Africa Games in Ghana in March, has signed a contract for a year’s loan renewable with a four-year permanent transfer, according to his agent Tunde Fabiyi.
Al Ittihad SC, based in the port city of Alexandria, Egypt’s second biggest city, further confirmed the transfer.
The transfer was finalised just before the closure of the window in Egypt.
The deal was brokered in collaboration of leading Egyptian agent Hamid Adel.
There was also interest from other Egyptian clubs Mehalla and Pyramids Ceramica.
