Flying Eagles defensive midfielder Sabiu Ibrahim missed training today due to an ankle injury he suffered in Thursday’s decisive U20 AFCON qualifier against Cote d’Ivoire.
However, there are assurances he will be fit to play tomorrow’s semifinal against Niger Republic.
The Niger Tornadoes star started the match against the Young Elephants after he was brought on as a sub in the opening Group B match against Burkina Faso.
He was a last-minute replacement for Daniel Daga, who was not available for this competition.
