The Flying Eagles will open their U20 AFCON campaign on February 19 night against the Junior Teranga Lions.
Senegal made history in Algeria at the weekend when they won the CHAN with eight of their heroes also eligible to feature at the U20 AFCON.
Senegal have in the last one year won the AFCON, the African Beach Soccer Championship and the CHAN.
However, experienced Bosso said rushing the players from the CHAN to the U20 AFCON could work against Senegal.
“Yes, I understand they have a good number of players from the CHAN who could also play against us at the U20 AFCON, but that could well be their undoing as these players need at least a two-week break between tournaments to do well in Egypt,” Bosso told SCORENigeria
“The players need to be fresh from one competition to the other.”
Interestingly, Bosso’s team defeated Zambia U20s 4-2 last week in Abuja before the Southern Africans also fell 1-0 to Senegal in Dakar Tuesday.
The Flying Eagles beat hosts Senegal 1-0 to win the 2015 U20 AFCON in Dakar.
It was Nigeria’s seventh continental title at this level.
