The Flying Eagles have invited six new players to their training camp in Abuja after mounting pressure that many eligible players were overlooked in a 40-man squad named by coach Ladan Bosso.
The new call-ups are Ayo Adejubu of Shooting stars, Henry Uzodika (Abia Warriors), Hilary Albert (Plateau United) as well as the Kwara United trio of Shola Raheem, Abdulsalam Abdulsalam and Musa Olororo.
Adejubu has come off the bench to score four goals for Shooting Stars this season.
The Flying Eagles have opened camp to prepare for next month’s U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Niger Republic.
The competition kicks off May 7 in Niamey.
