Finidi George has said former Super Eagles and now Benin coach Gernot Rohr should be the one to be scared of his team when they do battle Monday.
Rohr headed the Super Eagles for six years, qualifying them for the 2018 World Cup as well as the 2019 and 2021 AFCONs.
He therefore knows the team and the players inside-out and that should be a big advantage for his new team Monday in Abidjan.
However, Finidi insisted that it should be Rohr who should be bothered about the Super Eagles and not the other way round.
“He should be the one to be fearful (of the Super Eagles),” Finidi said.
“We want to win the game, we will take risk to win.
“We should repeat the second half performance against South Africa in Abidjan, that will give us a positive result that will change the narrative and that’s what we want to do on Monday.”
Three years ago, Rohr was sacked unceremoniously after he had qualified the Super Eagles to the 2021 AFCON because his team were not playing good football.
