The only surviving Nigerian club in international football this season, Enyimba, today crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after they lost 2-0 at Horoya AC of Guinea.
Enyimba were eliminated in the quarterfinal of the Confederation Cup 3-1 on aggregate after they were forced to a 1-1 draw in Aba.
Nigerian Bolaji Sarkin gave Horoya the lead in the 28th minute, before Boubacar Samassekou made the game safe for the home team six minutes from time.
No Nigerian club have won this competition since it was founded in 2004.
