At the ripe old age of 35, former Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose is not about to stop just yet after he signed for English club Bury FC.
The experienced central defender has signed for ‘The Shakers’ for the 2024/25 season after he quit Scottish club Queen of the South.
Bury FC, who play in the English ninth-tier league.
Manager Dave Mcnabb described the signing as “brilliant”, whose experience with help the young players in the team.
“A ball playing centre half with an unbelievable pedigree and huge experience with over 50 international caps and over 400 professional appearances,” he remarked.
“Efe is a great character and will certainly help some of the younger players in the squad.
It’s a brilliant signing for the club and one I hope will excite the fans”
