Various reports have suggested that Chelsea have continued to explore creative ways to resolve the dragging Victor Osimhen transfer saga.
Despite the fact that Samu Omorodion is linked to a move to the English giants, the move for Victor Osimhen will be an independent deal, according to Matt Law of The Daily Telegraph.
It has also been reported by Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano that an official bid has been sent in for the Atletico Madrid striker, and that; “Osimhen as of today is not accepting loan to Chelsea with buy option. If it’s a creative formula, like loan becoming obligation, then let’s see.”
It has been stated that the possible Osimhen-Lukaku swap deal is a different entity from the Omorodion situation, coming from Atletico Madrid, upon completion of Conor Gallagher’s move in the opposite direction.
As a result of this, Chelsea and Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson might have to move to the left-wing, a position he played in some games last season (particularly vs Luton Town where he had two assists), to accommodate Osimhen and Omorodion.
