The Cheetahs of Benin are not leaving anything to chance in Saturday’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against the Super Eagles as they have flown to Abidjan for total concentration.
Abidjan is the adopted home of Gernot Rohr and after the weekend clash against the Super Eagles in Uyo, they will host Libya in the Ivorian city on September 10 in a second Group F clash.
The Cheetahs have been banished from Benin because they do not have standard stadiums to host their home games.
Benin upset the Super Eagles 2-1 in Abidjan in June to climb to the front rank of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
