Serie A club Atalanta have said they are discussing a formal bid from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad with Ademola Lookman.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the club will discuss the bid with the player.
“We have received an official offer (for Lookman) from Al Ittihad,” the Italian club were quoted as saying.
“We will see what’s best for the player and discuss it with the club.”
Last week at a meeting in Dubai, a verbal offer of around 40 Million Euros was made by the Saudi Arabian club for the Super Eagles forward to his Italian club.
This bid matches his Transfermarkt valuation.
He has also been linked with several top Premier League and Serie A clubs since his exploits in the UEFA Europa League final in May.
Ademola Lookman scored 17 goals and made 10 assists in all competitions last season to be named Atalanta Player of the Season for the second straight season.
He cost the Italian club over nine Million Euros when he signed from German club RB Leipzig in 2022.
The 26-year-old second striker has a contract with Atalanta until June 2026.
