Togo-bound Golden Eaglets have been forced to make a last-minute change to their final squad to the U17 AFCON qualifiers following injury to defender Emmanuel Chukwu.
The towering central defender from Yak Sports Academy was regarded as one of the team’s top stars even though he is the youngest having only clocked 14 in November.
Chukwu’s place on the 25-man squad has now been taken up by Philip Titiloye, who was one of five players placed on standby.
He is a central defender from Boltimore Armour.
The Eaglets are expected to fly into Lome, Togo, today after they were in transit in Lagos overnight.
They open their campaign Wednesday afternoon against their Ivorian counterparts.
Ghana are the other team in the three-team Group B.
