It has most certainly not been a good start to the new season in Belgium for Stephen Odey as he has again been left out by KRC Genk from the matchday squad for this weekend.
Odey was left out of the squad for the opening game at Zulte Waregem which Genk won 2-1.
He was also not named for the first home game against newly-promoted OH Leuven.
Interestingly, former MFM FC striker Odey scored in a 3-2 win over second division club RWDM last weekend.
It was a friendly game.
Both Cyriel Dessers and Paul Onuachu, who both scored last weekend, are on the squad.
Dessers suffered a head injury in training in midweek, but he has been given the all-clear for the match on Saturday.
