Galatasaray have issued an update on the groin injury that Victor Osimhen suffered in a Super Lig clash at Basaksehir.
Osimhen opened scoring for the defending champions, but was forced out of this Istanbul Derby after 33 minutes due to discomfort around his groin.
Galatasaray said Osimhen has begun treatment and he will undergo further scan.
“In yesterday’s match against Basaksehir FK in the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, our players Victor Osimhen and Mario Lemina, who were diagnosed with strain and pain in their right adductor (groin) muscle group and have begun treatment, will have their further examinations, including MRI, completed tomorrow,” the Turkish champions reported in an official statement.
