Cote d’Ivoire striker Elye Wahi is now available for selection against Germany tomorrow after he was cleared to enter Canada.
Ahead of the clash against Germany in Toronto, there has also been uncertainty about Elye Wahi’s participation.
According to RMC Sport, the striker was initially denied entry to Canada due to issues related to the investigation into suspected match-fixing-related betting surrounding the Ligue 1 match between Nice and Metz.
Now the situation has taken a new turn.
RMC Sport reported that Canadian authorities have approved Wahi’s entry after reviewing a document from the Marseille prosecutor’s office.
