Hammarby IF have said they are in daily contact with Golden Eaglets forward Akinkunmi Amoo, who is set to sign a four-year contract with the Swedish club in June.
The youngster was to have joined the Swedish club last month, but for the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Sports director Jesper Jansson will also call off a trip to visit the player and his family in Nigeria for the same reason.
Hammarby official Mikael Hjelmberg said they are now in constant with Amoo.
“He is training in Ibadan wearing a Hammarby shirt,” the official disclosed.
“We’re in daily contact with him to show we care, he’s doing fine.
“He shows he misses us and we feel the same.”
Hammarby placed third in the Swedish top league last season and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a major investor at the club.
