Unlucky Akor suffers thigh injury

Ex-Flying Eagles striker Jerome Akor must be cursing his bad luck after he suffered a thigh injury while in action for French Ligue 1 club Montpellier.

Akor appeared to have suffered thigh muscle problem when he scored a goal in the 30^th minute at home against Brest only for the effort to be chalked off for a marginal offside.

He will later be forced out of the game in the 39^th minute because of the injury.

The striker will later this week undergo scans to ascertain the severity of the injury.
