William Agada scored twice for Sporting Kansas to beat FC Dallas 3-2 in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
The striker headed his team ahead in the 11th minute, before he doubled the lead on 23 minutes.
The former Mighty Jets of Jos striker has now netted seven goals this season.
However, it was his mistake that led to Dallas pulling a goal back.
Both teams will clash again Wednesday in the quarterfinal of the US Open Cup in Kansas City.
