The match will be played tomorrow by 5pm.
This qualifier has been shifted to the Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, where Nigeria were based at the last AFCON, after FIFA ruled Benin home ground sub-standard.
Last week, Benin, under former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, stopped erstwhile group leaders Rwanda 1-0 in Abidjan, while Nigeria forced the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to a 1-1 draw in Uyo.
The Super Eagles are fifth in Group C with three points from as many matches, while Benin are third with four points.
