Anthony Uzodimma has told SCORENigeria he is delighted that his first goal of the season helped his Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor defeat Samsunspor 2-1.
Uzodimma, 24, opened the scoring for the hosts in the 16th minute of Sunday’s showdown.
“It was amazing feeling celebrating my first goal of the season in front the home fans,” he told SCORENigeria
“I am happy and delighted to help my team get all three points in the game.”
It was the first win for Kayserispor this season.
They have climbed to seventh in the Super Lig standings with five points from three matches.
