The Golden Eaglets will now fly out directly Sunday to Algeria for the U17 AFCON after plans for a training tour of Germany fell through.
It was understood that besides some logistical challenges, the NFF could not agree with a sponsor for the Eaglets to train in Europe before the U17 AFCON in Algeria.
Nigeria are drawn in a first round group with South Africa, Morocco and Zambia.
The top four teams from this tournament will advance to the FIFA U17 World Cup scheduled for later this year.
