Anthony Nwakaeme could be out of action for about three weeks following a first degree groin injury.
The forward got injured last weekend in a Week nine game while in action for Trabzonspor against Fenerbahce and a scan subsequently confirmed the injury.
According to a statement from Trabzonspor, Nwakaeme injured his left groin adductor muscle and MRI on Tuesday detected that it is a first degree rupture.
Nwakaeme left the game after being injured in the 43rd minute.
Though the club did not disclose how long he will be out of action, such an injury usually forces a player out for two to three weeks.
Nwakaeme has scored four goals in nine games.
